Licensed Architect

Office of Ordinary Architecture is a young but growing firm looking for a talented architect to add to our team. We search to find the beauty in the everyday and intentionally aim to be a generalist firm working on a variety of disciplines including custom residential, commercial, and boutique multi-family projects. We approach our projects with an integrated approach, focusing on architectural and interior design simultaneously.

Our office is structured as a hybrid studio with 1-2 days a week in our Beacon Hill office and the rest of the week working remotely. We are searching for a licensed architect to help build our booming custom-residential studio with the opportunity to work in other disciplines as well.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Architecture

  • An Architecture License (preferably in the state of Washington)

  • A minimum of seven full-time years of work experience in the field of architecture or interior design

  • Experience with custom residential projects

  • The ability to work directly with clients and manage projects

  • The ability to work independently with minimal oversight

  • Experience with Revit and Adobe Creative Suite

  • Experience selecting finishes and fixtures is desired

  • Proficiency with CAD is a plus
