rural studio concessions stand
Completed at Auburn University Rural Studio. As part of the design-build thesis program, two classmates and I were tasked with designing and constructing a concession stand for a community park in Greensboro, Alabama. The park committee requested a concession stand that is durable, low-maintenance, and secure. In addition, the stand needed to be mobile in order to allow the stand to move to different locations throughout the park during different sports seasons. We met this challenge by creating a concession stand on a trailer base that opened and closed like an oversized mouth. The playful nature is the perfect fit for this public park.
