SEWARD PARK GENTLE DENSITY
Tucked within Seattle’s Seward Park neighborhood, this project reimagines a once-neglected site as a small collection of three homes that quietly introduce gentle density to the street. Rather than asserting a single large presence, the design is composed of modestly scaled units that echo the size, rhythm, and character of the surrounding houses. Each home is carefully crafted to balance efficient indoor living with private outdoor space, supporting everyday life for small families. By fitting comfortably within its context, the project enriches the neighborhood fabric—adding homes, not imposition, and density without disruption.
