spanish colonial revived
This historic 1925 Spanish Revival home had character to spare but the owners needed a little more room for their family. An addition to the house provided room for a bathroom and bedroom but with careful detailing and material selections the new spaces look like they have always been part of the home. During the process of designing the addition, the homeowners opted to refresh the existing primary bedroom and another bathroom to tie the entire second floor together. Inspired by existing details in the home such as the sphinx-inspired fireplace, the colorful material palette draws influences from the Middle East and features vibrant patterns and textures throughout.
