The owners of this 1950s home loved some of the vintage details but needed a more open layout for contemporary living. This remodel updated all of the kitchens and baths as well as a full basement renovation to add an accessory dwelling unit. The palette is light and airy but also has touches of color whether in the dusty blue kitchen or striking green handmade tile. Brass fixtures and hardware match brass fixtures, many of which date back to the house’s construction.
