This 1910s home offered plenty of charm but had an odd layout from multiple remodels over its life. The homeowner wanted to add more room and take advantage of Lake Washington views without losing the character of the home. The design of this second story addition aimed to create a space that looked as if it had always been part of the house. Carefully detailing the windows and adding dormers to create space added three more bedrooms and two bathrooms to the house while keeping the curb appeal of the home.
